February is usually the season of all things pink, especially in countries such as Japan and Korea, which celebrate the blossoming of sakura and the ripening of strawberries.
This season, we celebrate a pink spring at Sunday Folks, focusing on five new delectable offerings that pay homage to the season of strawberries and all things pink.
We created a Classic Strawberry Cheesecake, for celebrations and gatherings that could use a bit of pink! This timeless dessert is made with premium cream cheese and a crunchy digestive cookie base; it is finished off with a tart-edged homemade strawberry compote.
Many enjoy our Dark Chocolate Praline Tarts, so we decided to introduce the Strawberry Mascarpone Tart. Delicate mascarpone cream is encased inside an almond tart, and then dusted on the sides with crunchy roasted pistachios. Fresh strawberries are glazed on top and sprinkled with a hint of sea salt.
